Standby Time - The amount of time a fully charged battery will operate a Portable or Transportable phone turned "ON" and waiting for a call to be placed or received. Requires less power than Talk Time. Example: Specification for a particular battery may offer 8 hours of Standby Time or 45 minutes of Talk Time.
